  Sergio Zagier FRGS FLS

He divides his time between the publishing tasks at office and traveling to get raw material for his photographs and reportages. Director of Z&U Publications, he is also an amateur historian and rare books collector about Patagonia, Tierra del Fuego & Antarctica.He has been Ad Honorem advisor to the Ministry of Tourism of Argentina, having developed an all terrain vehicle plan for the country. He was ellected a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and the Linnean Society and is an Honorary member of Azara Foundation. He is a member of The Explorers Club and the Ernie Club. Sergio is the representative for South America for the Society for the History of Natural History and the Hakluyt Society.

Also a writer and collector about horology, he visits museums and manufactures around the world and is a member of the Antiquarian Horological Society, the National Association of Watch and Clocks Collectors and the Worshipful Company of Clockmakers.

 


  Dario Urruty

Journalist and author of maps and guides about Southern South America, he founded with his friend Sergio Zagier this publishing house in the 80s, the southernmost of the planet. Currently he left his position with Z&U Publications for managing a Tourism Chamber in Ushuaia, Province of Tierra del Fuego.


 

  Claudia Herrera

Claudia manages the marketing area of the company as well as the editing of photos and texts. She also collaborates intensively in the press assignments. Learned in Art History, she shares the same interests and hobbies with Sergio Zagier and his research expeditions and trips. Presently she is in charge of all the details concerning the projects and duties of Zagier & Urruty Publications.		  


  Jordan Zagier

Jordan is part-time on charge of customer and supplier logistics. The rest of his time he is devoted to botanical work and amateur astronomy.		  


  Mijal Zagier

She collaborates in the investigation, design, production and editorial marketing, being a graphic designer. Due to her experience in international marketing, Mijal deals with new customers from all over the world. She initiated her activities in the company as a teenager until she began to travel for training overseas. Now she is back to the front line from our USA office.


  


  Leon Zagier

Since his first days as a toddler, Leon participated on tasks like helping processing orders. In little time he will be committed to reassure the continuity of Zagier & Urruty Publications.
