JULIO POPPER'S COLLECTIBLES
At the end of the XIX Century, a romantic adventurer and explorer planned several advanced projects in Tierra del Fuego. The most famous being the gold enterprises, for which he coined gold pieces and printed stamps, now very interesting rarities for collectors.

	CIRCULATED STAMP Cover sent from La Boca (Buenos Aires) in January 1891 to one of Popper's workers. From Punta Arenas the piece was taken to San Sebastian where it was stamped in April 1891 with the rare mark. 	MAXIMO POPPER MAIL Cover sent by the explorer's brother from Buenos Aires in April, 1888? Maximo was the first police officer in Tierra del Fuego. He died at age 23 and was buried in San Sebastián. NOT FOR SALE
